Approximately 3,200 cubic yards of common embankment, 5. Approximately 2,600 cubic yards of aggregate base class 5, 6. Approximately 2,900 tons of bituminous paving, 7. Approximately 250 square feet prefabricated modular block wall, 8. Approximately 250 linear feet storm sewer pipe, 9. Exactly 6 hydrant relocations, 10. Approximately 13,600 square feet of concrete walk, 11. Approximately 3,900 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter, 12. Approximately 5.5 acres of seeding, 13. Exactly 3 signal system revisions, 14. Exactly 1 timber boardwalk (2,100 linear foot length)
Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the South Conference Room at 1700 W 98th St at
Plans, Specifications, and Proposal forms are on file and available from the office of the City Engineer, 1700 W. 98th St, Bloomington, Minnesota55431,upon deposit of a non-refundable check for $75.
Minimum wage rates to be paid by the Contractors have been predetermined and are subject to the Work Hours Act of 1962, P.L. 87-581 and implementing regulations.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation hereby notifies all bidders:

No bids will be considered unless sealed, labeled as a bid for the project, and filed with the City Engineer of Bloomington and accompanied by Bid Security, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders (to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event the bid be accepted and the bidder shall fail to enter promptly into a written contract and furnish the required bonds).The Contractor is responsible for the delivery of the bid to the office of the City Engineer.The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, to award the contract in whole or in part, and to award to the bidder the City determines is in the City's best interest.
